Lost in Pronunciation

Singing in other languages can be quite a challenge. Especially if you don't speak these languages and have no school knowledge to fall back on. For me, as an old language student, it was French! But you don't exactly learn Italian at school either. So how to get from the written language to the correct pronunciation. On Youtube there are videos for some songs that speak the songs slowly. But not necessarily in rhythm.
My new method - with which I also combine melody with speech - is simple and goes as follows:
Get a good recording (best MP3) of the song. The best is to choose one on which a "native speaker" sings this song.
Load the MP3 into the Music Speed Changer app and set the tempo to 60-70% of the original tempo. This is usually slow enough to hear all the subtleties. The app doesn't change the pitch in the process and everything is pronounced clearly and slowly.
The A B function also lets you work your way through section by section, repeating the selected passage as many times as you like. Gradually, you can increase the tempo and have learned the text and melody.
