Recording with your smartphone

Taking a quick picture with your smartphone for practice purposes is no problem today. However, there are quality differences in the different voice recorder apps.
Today I would like to introduce the Hi-Q mp3 recorder app, which convinced me by its simple operation and good recording quality. The free version is without ads and differs from the paid version (3.79€) only in the length of the recordings. Since music pieces are usually 3-5 minutes long, you can get by with the free version. What convinced me?:
Choice between mp3, wave, m4a (mp4), ogg and flac format
With mp3, the bit rate can be selected and thus the quality can be improved again
The signal strength can be adjusted. This was extremely convenient, as sometimes recordings are too loud and then quickly overdriven
Microphone selection is possible if your phone has multiple microphones
Choice of mono and stereo if your phone has multiple Mirkros
The recordings can be uploaded very conveniently to Dropbox or Google Drive
The quality of the recordings also convinced me.
I tried different apps and I clearly liked the recordings with this app the most: not too dull, no reverb, some bass and middle position, overall not too bright.
